Hi, there!
I’m Ștefania, a UX/UI and visual designer who works at the intersection of clarity, emotion and structure.
I come from a mixed background of programming fundamentals, system thinking and visual design, which naturally shaped the way I approach digital experiences.
I’m driven by curiosity, by the desire to make complex things feel simple and by the belief that design should always respect the people using it.
Taking an extra step to know me?
A glimpse into who I am
A graduate shaped by logic, systems and a curious eye
I studied Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, a degree where I learned programming fundamentals, databases, data structures and the logic behind how digital systems operate. It strengthened my analytical thinking and gave me a technical foundation that now helps me design products that are not only intuitive, but also feasible and scalable.
A designer who grew through exploration and self-learning
My design path started with curiosity. I taught myself visual design, completed a hands on bootcamp, joined a marketing agency and later moved to Barcelona for a master’s degree in UX Design. These experiences shaped my approach to product thinking, research, strategy and the visual craft of interfaces, helping me understand the full journey from insight to execution.
A freelancer who values ownership and real impact
Working independently taught me how to lead projects from first idea to final implementation, collaborate closely with teams and create experiences that solve genuine human and business needs. I enjoy structuring information, untangling complexity and designing interfaces that feel grounded, intuitive and thoughtfully crafted.
More on my design ethos
Curiosity with depth and responsibility
I’m intentional about understanding user behaviour, edge cases and the emotional journey behind every interaction. I believe that design should anticipate needs, reduce friction and respect the diverse realities of the people using the product.
Accessibility as a foundation, not an add-on
I care deeply about making experiences usable and welcoming for everyone. Whether it’s clear hierarchy, readable typography, predictable interactions or inclusive content, accessibility guides many of my decisions. Good design should remove barriers, not create them.
Commitment to meaningful, reliable work
I put accent on coherence, honesty and purpose in everything I design. From the smallest UI detail to the structure of a complex flow, I aim to create experiences that are usable, calm and genuinely helpful, not just visually appealing.
